About the Place
Located in the heart of Cabo San Lucas at Lote 18, El Medano Ejidal, La Casa Country CSL offers a dining experience that perfectly blends Mexican flavors with a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. This restaurant stands apart for its exceptional service, vibrant ambiance, and dishes that truly celebrate fresh, local ingredients.
From the moment you arrive, the attentive and friendly staff set the stage for a memorable meal. Servers like Jafet, Silvester, Manuel, and Carlos elevate the experience with their sharp, yet unobtrusive service, ensuring every guest feels cared for without ever feeling rushed. Their knowledge and confidence in the menu reflect a deep trust in the kitchen’s offerings.
The culinary highlights here capture the essence of traditional Mexican cuisine with a contemporary touch. Signature dishes such as the Adelina platter and the day's fresh catch—often sea bass—stand out for their vibrant flavors and impeccable execution. The shrimp and chicken fajitas are a treat for sharing, bursting with savory, smoky spices that speak to authentic preparation methods.
The freshness shines through even in the simplest of dishes like the table-made guacamole, crafted with perfectly ripe avocados that bring out rich, creamy textures. For those seeking comfort food with a twist, the fried chicken served alongside fresh guacamole, prepared table-side, is a delightful surprise and profoundly satisfying. Their meat platter, brought to your table sizzling on a small grill, is both a flavorful feast and a visual spectacle that engages all the senses.
Dessert is not to be overlooked. The flan here is heralded as one of the best in Cabo, creamy and smooth with just the right touch of sweetness that lingers pleasantly after the meal. Complementing the food is a well-curated drink menu featuring standout creations like the Mezcal de Jalapeño and expertly mixed margaritas, which provide a perfect balance to the robust flavors on the plate.
The ambiance sets a perfect tone — away from the busy marina’s loud crowds, it offers a chill spot ideal for people-watching and savoring live music, creating a social yet intimate dining environment. Whether enjoying an amazing breakfast, lively lunch, or a flavorful dinner, La Casa Country CSL consistently delivers on all fronts. It’s no wonder it remains a beloved stop for locals and visitors alike looking for authentic Mexican cuisine paired with heartfelt hospitality.
“ Jafet was an excellent server. Food was great! We had an awesome time! Adelina platter was great as was fish of the day- sea bass. Flan was the best we had all week. Casa country is a restaurant we always stop at when we are here. ”
“ Update Update Update...!!! As promised we came in for Dinner as we've been in for the amazing Breakfast a few times before. And the Dinner was simply amazing as well. Had the Shrimp Fajitas and Chicken Fajitas, and they were delicious as expected of course we shared lol. My brother had if I remember correctly the Catch of the day which was Sea Bass and it was extremely good. And the homemade Salsa Sauce made right in front of you is SOOOOO GOOD Definitely don't hesitate and just walk by La Casa Country, you'll be disappointed if you did trust me... Stopped in and sat at the Bar for a Couple Cerveza's one afternoon, Barkeep was very friendly and accommodating. Can't believe it after so many years of walking by at La Casa Country that this was our first time coming in ( and glad we did ) Every time we've walked past this place it's always busy either for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. The smell of the food was driving us crazy while having our couple of Cerveza's. So we decided to come in for Breakfast one morning. And it was amazing. Our server was excellent and friendly and very attentive. Next will be coming in for Dinner in the future for sure ( that I promise )... So don't do what we've been doing for years, just walk by it. Because you'll definitely be disappointed if you do... Cheers from Vancouver Canada ???????? ”
“ We picked this place for the great location on the marina, away from the busier thumpa thumpa establishments, and the atmosphere was pretty chill. Great table for people watching, very good margaritas, and good service from our server Manuel. Definitely try the table guacamole- perfectly ripe avocados and an excellent recipe. Shrimp burrito and pork tacos we're both excellent and portions were generous. Prices are California style, as are most of the better joints on the marina. But I'd go back. ”
“ La Casa Country is a place that understands the delicate balance between good food, strong drinks, and the quiet joy of proving someone wrong in public. The service was locked in from the start. Friendly, fast, and sharp without hovering like an anxious parent. You could tell the staff knew the room and trusted the product, which is always a good sign. Then came the Mezcal de Jalapeño, a drink that arrives with a warning baked into its DNA. When I ordered it, the waiter gave me that sideways smirk and a little giggle, the universal signal for “this might be too spicy for you, amigo.” I smiled, nodded, and drank it like a man with nothing to lose. It was smoky, spicy, beautifully unhinged, and before the poor guy could fully process what had happened, I ordered a second. The smirk vanished. Respect was earned. The food was top-notch bar food done right. Not trying to be fancy, not pretending to be something it’s not, just well-executed comfort food that shows up hot, fresh, and ready to do its job. The kind of food that pairs perfectly with mezcal and questionable decisions. Everything we had hit the mark. There was live Mexican music playing, which somehow managed to add atmosphere without hijacking the room. It didn’t drown out conversation or turn into a forced dinner-theater situation. It just sat there in the background doing its job, like a seasoned rhythm section that knows when not to solo. The atmosphere sealed it. American football on the big screens, a lively crowd, good energy in the room, and just enough chaos to feel alive without tipping into madness. La Casa Country feels like a place where stories start, drinks multiply, and nobody judges you for ordering the spicy thing twice. I’d go back in a heartbeat, and next time I might order the third mezcal just to see what happens. ”
